March resulted in a total of 5 Dirty Bombs being dropped Why tho?

The Hcom3 Bomb

Hcom3 Actually quit a Year ago, He only came back for Elimination 2020 where he lead Karma Farmers to Top 4 then went dark again till… he finally decided to login 2 weeks ago and call it quits once and for all. He decided to run a giveaway and kept doing RR Matches till he finally won enough to buy a Dirty Bomb.

I was bored really. I doubled up in RR once and someone told me that if I did it once more, I could buy a DB. I just said “fuck it”. Got lucky, got a bomb, and here we are.

When I was just starting the RR games, looking to double up so I could buy the DB, I was wanting to bomb cheds faction. It would have been really dumb, and pointless as he can just change the respect values himself. However I decided closer to the bomb detonation point that I wanted it to be an actual faction. In the end I was considering doing IBB, or SA. I chose SA mainly because they have already been DBed, and it would have been really funny for them to get hit… again. I wanted this to be special, and PrincessJulie jokingly came up with the idea that I make a thread when I plant it that I am bombing NS II. It would be pretty unexpected and when the actual bomb happened it would be pretty fucking funny. So I went with that. I not so patiently waited for the bomb to prime, waited some more for a friend to fly and planted. I made the thread, and here we are today :)

The Drop

After pulling a huge Troll on the forums where he claimed he dropped the bomb on NATURAL SELECTION II the faction he was in before he quit, On Bomb Detonation the truth was out, He dropped the bomb on Subversive Alliance fake Troll Screenshot provided by Hcom3

Obviously this was a troll, I wanted to make this thread as PJ gave me its great idea. The actual Bomb was on SA as you can now tell.It was kinda hard picking between IBB and this, but I think this was funnier. -Hcom3

Don’t be lazy, the biggest hinderance to my further success was my lack of motivation at times, putting in a lot of effort goes a long way. This game is a massive daily grind. The simple shit adds up. You don’t have to spend 16 hours a day trading or whatever but there is a ton you can do in a 15 minute per day window. Xanax, train, do a few crimes, racing, use a bit of booster space. The small shit like that will add up over weeks, months, years. Trust me when I say if you don’t do some stuff, it will bite you back in the future. Newer players, read guides, absorb information, join factions to help you out. Knowing what you are doing from the start will propel you into the game faster, and allow you to get ahead. Somewhat ties into the 2nd point, but finding a good faction for you is really important. Specials that factions give can be an immense support and will help you out a ton long term, not to mention you can find some really amazing and fun people on this game. And if you don’t think your current faction is working out, there are always more to try out. Gonna be a stereotypical response in this last point, but make sure you are having fun. If your current play style is not working out, you might want to consider changing it. It may not seem like it at times but there really are so many different ways to play this game. Not everyone is suited for every style.

The Bling_Bling Bomb 1, 2 & 3

Bling_Bling a famed Dual Bushmasters collector (unfortunate for him he won’t be known by this anymore) was caught 2 Months ago Collecting Nudes.

According to his latest forum thread, upon returning to Torn from the Forbidden Jail he claims he was unfairly treated by the community manager and wanted to spend his entire networth on a target, that target Turned out to be MnC who has suffered 3 Dirty Bombs so far. Apparently BlingBling is also a professional Power Point Presentation creator, you can read his side below. BlingBling dropped the 2nd 4th and 5th Dirty Bombs of March 2021.

The Drops

Bomb 1

The faction has been severely hit by a dirty bomb, decreasing its respect by 446,720 to 7,028,461.

Bomb 2

Your dirty bomb has detonated, injuring 486 citizens and severely damaging Mentos and Cola,decreasing its respect by 438,612 to 6,601,549.

Bomb 3

508 injured as Dirty Bomb detonates near Mentos and Cola’s headquarters reducing respect by 404,688The faction has been severely hit by a dirty bomb, decreasing its respect by 404,688 to 6,204,032.

In Total Mentos and Cola lost 1,290,020 Respect to 3 Dirty Bombs dropped by Bling_Bling

Right after Bling_Bling dropped their first bomb, while he and few others that offer “bomb drop” services were offline we saw a nuclear cloud

The bomb detonated at Natural Selection HQ. The suspected bomber acccording to the forums is Miro Leader of Subversive Alliance rumored to have dropped the bomb as retaliation for the Hcom3 bomb. However these are only rumors for now since there’s no official confirmation as of yet.

Developers Focus November 2020 Explained

Disclaimer: I Had No Special Privileged Access to Information, what you’re about to read is entirely My Thoughts and research into the Topics. This Article Cover’s Patchlist #166 to #169.

Developers Focus is incredible to stay updated about the upcoming changes/updates to the game, for instance, “Crime Writing” which Alice has been focusing on for Eternity and will focus on for Eternity.

That being said let’s figure out what developers were focusing on for November:-

1. Project Management

Chedburn is responsible for Managing all Torn Projects. Project management is the process of leading the work of the team to achieve goals and meet success criteria at a specified time.
From what I’ve heard, Project Docs are created by Chedburn and are Submitted to Developers for them to work on.

2. Crimes 2.0

~~The Future of Crimes that may one day arrive on 2089~~ Crimes 2.0 is a complete overhaul of the existing Crimes system. First Teased many many years ago and is currently being developed, It is perhaps one of the Largest Project Torn has been working on and was 55% Complete on 22/02/2016 although the post states “Initial Release” I believe Chedburn has changed his mind and it will be released in Full at once.

Crimes 2.0 is pretty cool, I don’t want to talk about this because I think it’s a long way off, but it is progressing slowly. We’ve just hired a creative writer to initially plan the detailed structure and formatting of the crime results. -Source

3. Full activity log

Activity Log was released earlier this year on 26/05/20 but it was only an initial release,

Once we’re happy that the ‘Recent History’ panel is working as expected, we’re planning on adding a full ‘Activity Log’ page that will allow you to search through all of your logs by category and date ranges. We’re planning to store all logs forever, so you’ll have a complete history of everything that you’ve ever done. -Source

The Full Activity Log will be released in the future, it will be located on a separate page. If you’re impatient and would like to export current logs here’s a Nice Scrip by Lugburz it allows you to filter as well export as CSV file. It does however require you to select on the activity log and hold the page-down button unless you’re on a MacBook Air like me.

4. Loadouts release

New Loadout system was released on 03/11/20 right after patch #166

We’ve just released a system for managing different equipment loadouts, you’ll now see this at the top of the Items page. This has the following features… See your currently equipped armor and clothing. Click on the image to enlarge it. Weapons, Armor, Clothing, Mods & Ammunition you equip is saved in a Loadout. Rename loadouts, and swap between them depending on your requirements. Click or tap a weapon’s ammunition to instantly toggle between special ammunitions.

5. Weapon & armor bonuses

These are special Bonuses for weapon/armors like for instance Demoralize for Gold Plated AK-47’s or Freeze for Snow Canon. You can find the Full List here

6. Core updates & refactoring

These updates involve Important changes to the site’s code and refactoring is the process of restructuring existing computer code—changing the factoring—without changing its external behavior. Refactoring is intended to improve the design, structure, and/or implementation of the software while preserving its functionality.

7. WAI support

Alexander usually works on implementing and Improving accessibility functions for the site. If you’re interested you can read more about WAI here

8. Countdown timer module

I’m not exactly sure what or where the Countdown timer module is being implemented but my best guess is the developer is working on implementing better or rather more accuracy for the energy/nerve bars.

9. Google Play payment integration

Torn is currently working on integrating Google Play Payments into the Donator House, meaning you’d be able to purchase DPs directly through the Torn Android App, and again this will also result in more options since Google Play’s system is Flexible in terms of what they accept. 10. Bugs & Issues

This means the Developer is also focused on fixing Bugs apart from whatever their regular role is.

11. Bot hunter anti-cheat system

The new Bothunter system intends to capture and send users using Bots to make automated actions in the game to federal jail. here’s a relevant comment from Joshua when GF was fedded.

This has been part of a fairly long term project, big props to Dima on the development team here for his help, of which CSP was a part of and other bot hunter projects. This is still ongoing but users who are very clearly automating their actions to play the game, train in the gym, bypass the captcha, and are profiting in the 10s or 100s of billions have been logged and are in the process of being deleted. This is but the start of a series of ongoing logs 10s of millions of rows long and we have just begun to scratch the surface with some fairly high profile jailings such as this one and some lower tier ones scattered in the mix as well. In some cases users have been using programs that have been offered out there for sale, in other cases people had their own dedicated servers specifically set up for the purpose of playing their accounts, and others, for them or multis to feed a singular individual. Ultimately, if you want to break the rules to such a degree then you are only wasting your own time as at the end of the day we will catch up to you and all of that effort will be for nothing.

12. Temporary accounts for mobile app registration

Temporary Accounts would be severely limited kinds of accounts, perhaps to give PlayStore’s new player’s an experience of the game before they signup, basically a Torn Trial.

13. CT2020

aka Christmas Town 2020, it will remain open till 2 weeks from 17/12/20

14. Header rebuild

Rebuild to the Site’s Header my best guess is this will Improve SEO for the site. s

15. Ranked warring

A version of the old Warring system where you declare war on a faction and Hospitalize members to gain respect, Ranks on HOF, and also Fat Respect Bonuses when you win. There haven’t been any detailed releases of how its going to work, guess we’ll have to wait and see.

16. Poker 2.0

Bug fixes and improvements to the Poker Casino Game.

17. Native Android app

Native App for Android rather than the current Browser implementation built using Ionic Framework.

18. News Ticker

The New News Ticker functionality was Added Last month

19. Stocks 3.0

Complete rebuild and a New System for Stocks that allows you to withdraw payouts rather than them being automatically credited

20. Bookie 2.1 preparing beta

Preparing Beta Testing for Bookies 2.1, basically, Bookies 2.0 with no possibility of arbitrage and a limit of 1,000,000,000

21. Unavailable

It means the Developer is unavailable to work on the projects.

22. Credits page

Rebuild of the Credits page, so far The icons have been converted to SVG format in preparation for Dark Mode.

23. General QA

Quality Assurance of the Site.

Quality assurance focuses on improving the software development process and making it efficient and effective as per the quality standards defined for software products. Quality Assurance is popularly known as QA Testing.

24. Torn Wiki

Improvements and Bug fixes to Torn’s MediaWiki software.

25. Modeling openable supply packs

Creating Designs and use cases for supply packs/caches.

26. Economic monitoring

Chris W. is the Economist that Monitors the Torn Economy and Publishes Economy Report every year.

27. General marketing

Marketing and Promotional Materials of Torn these include infographics, design work, and Ads for Facebook, Google, and Reddit.

28. App marketing

Marketing and Promotion of the Torn City Android App.

29. New Torn trailers

Bunch of Cringeworthy Trailers for Torn. Please Click this, you must see you can find more of these on the Official TornRPG channel.

30. Social media

Sugarvalves is responsible for Managing Torn’s Social Media Accounts, creating posts, photos, events etc and responding to your messages ofcourse.

31. Newspaper

Sugarvalves publishes articles for the Torn City Times

32. Event planning

Planning seasonal events for Torn.

33. Crime writing

Apparently, Alice does a lot more than just Crime Writing. My best guess is it’s designing systems, inputs, and outputs for crimes.

34. Dark mode planning

Planning and converting PNG’s JPEG’s and other assets to SVG’s in preparation for Dark Mode.

35. Cron pod auto-refresh

Setting Cron Job’s refresh for Kubernetes Pods.

36. WS channel integration for attacking

Web Services Integration for Attacking system.

37. URL manager

URL Manager to better manage Site URL’s or maybe implement a better system for URLs Generation.

38. Medical system review in prelude to ranked warring

Reviewing Medical System before releasing Ranked Warring, my best guess is Revives are getting nerfed with some sort of cooldown and/or making changes to Medical Items.

39. Attacking websockets update

Attacking would be made more Live by having it channel through WebSockets so you’ll be able to open up the attacking page and see what activity is happening live.

40. News ticker refactoring

Making changes to the News Ticker’s Code.

41. Legendary bonus icons

They’re working on Red / ‘Legendary’ Weapon Bonuses. The final class of weapon bonuses. They are 25 times rarer than Epic class bonuses.

42. Block users from chatting with banned players

If you’re trying to chat with a user that’s been chat banned the blocked icon will show up as an overlay on the initiate chat icon.

43. Bothunter anti-cheat system data collection

Collecting data from known bots that will be fedded soon and perfecting the BotHunter’s system for the particular use case.

The Goon Massacre of 2020

So picture this in your head, its a Lazy Monday Evening and you’re just trying to disguise Torn as yet another important site and play while working and then you look up at the new News Ticker feature and see something about a goof… wait what is goof? oh no its Goon and holy shit 32 pages and 150+ likes wtf? This must be huge right? right?

Yes Indeed it is, At the Time of Writing over 22 Factions and a Raid score over 23k now that is HUGE, No Not the raid score but the number of factions raiding. A 22 vs 1 what could have these Goons possibly have done?

This is what AlexaNikkole had to say on their Thread

I guess when you talk shit you get hit… I don’t know quite what they did this time, but THB has raided them before for talking shit… Guess they definitely pissed off the wrong people this time.

To figure this out i decided to have a chat with resident The Real Goon

oh well that wasn’t very helpful guess i’ll move on and read the whole 47 pages.

Thankfully on page 2 Odo gave a rundown of the chain of events

So the Entire Ordeal seems to have Started 3 Months ago on/around september when a Goon member mugged Willroc-a-fella’s Wife and there was strong retaliation from Willroc-a-fella, Goons did Gooning to make it worse but they soon calmed down. A Month later Goons Added “Wife Muggers” to their factions description which Obviously Resulted in Triggering Willroc-a-fella but around this time goons had beef with snoopy420 so they raided him, when Willroc-a-fella stepped in Goons went all in on “Wife mugger” gimmick and basically shot their foot.

At the Time of Thread creation the Number of factions raiding goon was 13, now its 22 thats almost a 69% incease.

Probably yes i guess, there’s really no way of knowing if they’ll ever truce given the history of negotations that took place (or the lack there of) and the fact that goons keep on shooting their own foot. This is one of those times when you do not get into trouble at first, but the trouble slowly keeps on building and building only to be unleashed on one fine day. Hopefully if this ever ends we get to hear from both sides who have been really silent when i reaced out to them.

Player Focus: LTJELLOMAN

Welcome to Our First Player Focus Article, in this one we’ll be having a good look at LTJELLOMAN who has sat down with me for the Interview. LTJELLOMAN is a Competitive Mugger and Investor, He also may or may not have mugged $70,955,303 from me during the interview.

Where did LTJELLOMAN come from and what’s his Genesis Story?

I found torn in middle school when I was 11 or 12 didn’t play for a year or two I logged back in with enough money to buy shit Armor and guns

I was a trader back in the day I made something like 5-10b trading back in 2010 decided to take my bank investment which was at 800m after 2 years after I found a parachute i sold for ~300 mil

Things were going alright for LTJELLOMAN untill the fateful day when he got himself scammed

got scammed by someone pretending to be staff with a red name and lost 3b of my factions money at the time. I was about to quit because of IRL stuff and me getting scammed was at a horrible time so I was about to quit and tried to explain why my factions mates were going to lose 1b of their money and 2b of mine at the time

Thankfully for LTJELLOMAN he was part of a good supportive faction he recalls the name was “white tiger clan” but it no longer exists.

they all said it is kind of fishy and I just explained I basically lost everything I had and they knew I was having a difficult time IRL so they convinced me to keep playing and let me use their money to trade it back, it took me 3 weeks to make the money back but I became a buy mugger for it, I was the type of person to buy a PI from someone and chain mug them I had a reviver at the time and I would mug these people until I ran out of E

LTJELLOMAN currently sits at $108,000,000,000 Networth with his real networth being way higher than this, over $36,000,000,000 in Money Mugged with almost the entire amount being real mugs with only 500M of it being mug protection in the old system

i only did like 2-3 mug protections back in the day for ~500m

According to his achievements thread He set a goal of mugging $5b IN 30 Days but due to his power supply failing he couldn’t use his PC anyways he managed to mug $4.532B in 30 days. this was 9 months ago

I was waiting to get 5 billion mugged in 30 days to post this but due to a power supply to fail I couldn’t use my PC. Therefore I cant wait any longer to post this. so in 30 days I’ve collected a new market tax of 4.532 billion off of some very nice people. Seeing Money mugged $10,223,327,095 is crazy to me.

Most of his muggings have been from pure buy mugs/RR stalking and he has proudly done no trade mugs because he sees them to be scummy behavior.

To everyone I have mugged its just the forced discount tax I have implied due to it should take some effort to be a trader after trying to come back and be as big of a trader as i was aka sold 100 billion in my bazaar in 3-5 months making 3% due to all the lazy traders abusing mug protection and capping the market, and how when i started out as a trader there was no mug protection and if i wasn’t online i would just be mugged every 40 mins. So you cant be mad if I mug you and blacklisting me might slow me down but i can still mug you you can ask a few of the people I will be thanking in this thread.

With almost 2.5B coming off of RobSnow who has now quit, LTJELLOMAN would have been way more richer if RobSnow hadn’t quit. Anyways just 6 months later He hits 25B money Mugged

I’d like to think this is only the beginning of me trying to plant my flag in the mugging game but I’m sure I won’t be able to keep up with all these new muggers I’ve paved the way for, or maybe people will learn how to not be a easy mug target.

LTJELLOMAN claims to be mugging for fun and its indeed true according to multiple sources, some even mentioned he helps out new players and blind ladies to cross the road.

LTJELLOMAN mentions some of his most Fun mugs were not his buy mugs but rather quick snipes of someone else’s buys,

Apart from Mugging, LTJELLOMAN watches the market vigilantly and he’s been quite lucky to score a few GOOD DEALS.

although he hasn’t managed to buy a Dirty Bomb for 40M yet, he does have quite an impressive luck with good market deals.

Another area where LTJELLOMAN has his money, mouth, eyes and friends are on Companies, he looks at Companies like they’re some kind of Money Printers (spoiler: they actually are money printers)

LTJELLOMAN runs a few Logistics, TVs and a few other types which his Trusted friends Hold for him and oh boy he does have a lot of Trusted Friends he knows in real life.

LTJELLOMAN also does stock trading, item trading if they are cheap, he does credit stock trading for contributing a sizeable amount to his Networth.

What are his expenses? How expensive is his life style? LTJELLOMAN mentions,

I am too cheap to really use anything but I guess cans would be my biggest expense or my “torn kids” most people know I have a lot of IRL friends i play with and I spend more money on them than on myself

What are LTJELLOMAN’s end Goals?

I really want to help my friends grow, i really think at the moment my goal is to make Natural Selection II as good as I can. I recently reach my goal of getting to 100b networth even tho I already had it in proxies company’s but that was a big deal. my next goal is 200b but realistically torn lifetime goal would probably be 500b networth i really don’t know if i can do it since i plan on starting SE’s so i can catch up to most people. I’d love to maybe get to the top 500 BS but by the time i get their that might be like 50b total. really I just want to have fun while I can

I wanted to make this thread, cause i’m kind of proud of it! Despite being only 200 or so days old when elimination started, I managed 590 hits! Which was good enough for second place on my team (toothpaste) behind Jokur.
No idea what the record is for someone under a year old (I probably dont have it in terms of total hits cause we got bumped early. But maybe for place finishing on a team? Dont know if any newer folks have finished second.)
Either way, the experience was fun at times. Frustrating as hell at times. A ton of time and effort. But I learned a lot. And like i said im pleased with how i did.

Supreme Peasant Hit- Expalins why he is no longer a Peasant

SO today at 11am bst 13/09/20 i left the peasants discord. the peasants was a amazing place where i made lifetime friends such as theboss, Lat, Silverrose etc. i left due to me not giving a shit about the competition anymore and i frankly got bored of leeching, this was due to me being busy irl for most of the competion and seeing some future inactivity. i was top 20 in hits when i was actually hitting, with 90 then i stopped giving a shit and started training and leeching. Faction Focus: Memento Mori

Welcome back to yet another faction focus article! For this one, we’ve picked Memento Mori aka MM.

Memento Mori was a promising faction back in the day, it was even called ‘a faction to keep an eye on’ in this newspaper article five years ago. To find out what exactly led to and how this faction disappeared, I sat down with; Tascon, the Leader, sparkyMarky, Donandres, and OC Manager M3G47HR0N of the faction.

The original faction (Faction ID #8706) hasn’t disappeared per se, it is still alive and kicking as UnLeashed. However, the faction’s timeline is pretty fascinating. Check out the fancy timeline graphics below!

Memento Mori was originally named “The Little House on the Prairie,” and was founded by two good friends of mine back then - Whiterose (may she rest in peace), and UnFairlane, a good Danish (not the food) friend of mine with similar interest in online games. We wanted to have a cozy little place we could retire to - to sit and grow old with no pressure, no wars or issues, just laid back training for years to come…
Whiterose had an illness in real life and knew her time was coming to a close which was her reason for getting in on our plan for a sanctuary.
I was a bit more active and social then, and formed many relationships along the way. I have always wanted to help new people with the game - and help them grow. The big factions controlled the game, and it was difficult for anyone to get into a good faction without the right contacts to progress their gameplay.

Tascon realized by this point that faction members liked the way he managed the faction, and he personally wanted more action. Hence, through the assent of the members and leaders, Memento Mori was born.

We ran speed chains and competed against teams within the faction to get the best score. We had an amazing team with great activity, which meant that we actually had good hard-fought wars against top factions. Many thought we were a slow, mediocre faction because we ranked low. We kept up that appearance in order to make the most respect while climbing the ranks (respect gain was different back then). We ended up beating far bigger fish due to the stamina of our team, which was of course a great boost to the overall team morale across the ranks.

A long time ago, Memento Mori merged with Forged Through War (FTW) to form Forged Memento. I was in MM when the merger happened, before moving on to FTW when the merger failed without a clue as to why. Either way, this short-lived failed merger had set a precedent for us, not all mergers are successful.

I engineered the merge with FTW as a last ditch effort to have the faction live longer. I have personally been running a faction for many years, and I’ve had good co-leaders help me with the job but the leader always has work to do. At some point, I came to the realization that the time I spent in the game was affecting my real life and simply took too much of my time. As such, I wanted to try and have a larger leadership team to split the work with.

However, for Tascon, things don’t go very well.

I ended up running FTW and MM by myself for the most part briefly. Until I had to back out and so, I reversed the merger. To me, it was better run one faction well rather than two Average Factions.
Hence, I was back to square one and desperately wished to lighten my work load somehow.
I didn’t want to abandon all our members and what we had built, but at the time we had no one stepping up to take the torch and lead us onwards.
So, when a good offer on the faction came along, I took it and sent much of it back to the core of our faction. Now, I live my TORN life as a normal citizen with none of the burdens of leadership and can play whenever I feel like it, or have the time for it.

Rhino Reached out to mention JFA (Just Fer Assholes) offered in the ranges of 80B for the faction but it was eventually sold to Saltama/Egypt a well-known faction flipper for a sum close to $87,000,000,000.

I was offered a generous price - 87B, I think was the number on the table. It was the entirety of their networth and I was told they just wanted a faction with good perks to sit in, train and grow old. A final spot and a crowning achievement on their list of things to do. It was all their account had in the way of assets, meaning mostly stocks. The stocks lost a lot of their value sometime after the trade but I was lucky to sell of at an okay-ish price after keeping them for a bit, so the deal was alright for me. I was dealing stocks anyway, and would have invested the cash in stocks if that were offered instead. So, I’m not complaining.

While working on the article, VitaGreta mentioned something about the company Tascon is holding being a reminiscent of the faction.

I founded the company with MM funding, that being said - it was a way for members to get a huge interest on their TORN savings, I gave all members an option to buy-in to my investment plan. Each share was sold for 1b, with an interest payout of 6% each month.

Tascon used the funds to buy and run the Oil Rig, and he also invested some cash into items and stocks.

Members were offered good solid pay, no matter their work stats. If they took a spot in the rig.
You could always sell your share and get your 1b back at any time.
It worked as an investment fund, you could say - boosting members networth and helping them progress in the game. I covered the expenses and even when at a loss, I made sure members always got their returns.

Donandres08, another MM Members jumped in and shared his personal experience being in the faction and told us how he and his five friends ended up in MM.

We were all Danes and had a small faction called the Royal Danish Army. We were all new players, so we didn’t really have anything.
Tascon reached out to me and the other leader, Ceberix, and we talked back and forth. Until at one point we decided to join MM and that was the best-TORN move we’ve made.
MM was not, by any means, a faction that had many trolls or a super active chat but, as Tascon also mentioned, we did this thing where we made chaining teams - one for each day, and some people signed up to be team leaders and make sure their team was full. Chaining was so much different back then and that was the way we made much of our respect.

Donandres08 tells us a little about the wars they fought.

We had some great wars with JFA and some other factions of similar size. What we lacked though, were their strong guests - which often decided the close wars. Tascon had a few really big hitters, but it wasn’t enough. Regardless, we always fought hard and if you look at Natural Selection and some other factions, many old MM members are now in the upper tier in regards to not only stats but also chaining.
We tried really hard to teach people how to chain properly and not waste hits.
Tascon was a great leader because he always wanted to help out. He has a strict moral code - don’t cheat or be a dick! I think that was what made the core of MM so solid, and also why old MM members still reach out to me and say stuff like “I wish MM was still around.”

Donandres08 also mentioned about how they had to get rid of some members.

We had to get rid of some strong members sometimes because they did not live up to what Tascon (and the core of MM) wanted for our members to be like. I remember that it was always those who were so close to getting into the upper tiers, when they did stupid stuff that saw them kicked. Marshmallow was one of them.

sparkyMarky who currently resides in Natural Selection (NS), shares his pleasant experience being in MM.

I think I joined around 2011/2012. I remember dragging a chain through the London 2012 Olympics Games’ opening ceremony. We had a few formative fights with closely matched factions. Little Stompers is the only one among them that still remains today. King_K carried us hard through the early days. Always rescuing us when our chains were near dying.
Second2none was a good organizer but left later on. M3G47HR0N organized our OCs for ages.

There were a lot of wars but MM had a core of active players and was confident if they could withstand the first onslaught, then they could grind down most factions.

I think we hit our peak around 2016 when I believe we were reasonably, a top ten faction. There was an incident where someone got banned (possibly insulting/aggressive forum behavior or scamming) and their leaving dragged away 4-5 of our newer, more active people.

He also mentions their beef with Just Fer A**holes (JFA).

We scheduled an organized war with them. A little before we started to run a chain and it managed to get to exactly 4000. The faction was a bit burnt out, so we canceled the scheduled war.
JFA was a bit butt hurt and declared on us anyway and won with little opposition. I believe we fought back later on but I’m not completely sure. There was much forum trash talking. Ironically, a good amount of us left for JFA. Including me, after we disbanded.

One of our last wars was a suicide rush at JFK. Sadly, I missed it but I always had the most fun being a soldier in the fierce fights. No matter whether we won or lost.

M3G47HR0N, the Official OC Manager of MM, who till this day still has a copy of the OC Rankings shares his experience in MM.

I started playing TORN much earlier but I was too noob to survive and make good progress back then. Like most people with old characters, I quit for many years. Then only came back playing in early 2012. Still very noob to the game, with very low stats for my character’s age and level, I decided to give it another try.

M3G47HR0N was then approached by someone from MM, he’s unable to recall who exactly.

I joined MM with my shitty stats and grinding my way as I learned the game properly from Tascon. So, that’s how I joined MM, and stayed with it for many years until it got sold and changed hands.
Personally, I really liked being in MM because of the friendly atmosphere - where everyone helped and respected each other.
On top of that, we had good leadership and Tascon was always very helpful to everyone back then, including me.
So, as the faction grew over the years, so did our members. Over time, I gained trust from leadership and Tascon offered to put me in charge of OCs.

M3G47HR0N didn’t know much about OCs but he still accepted the role.

Originally, we had only 1 Presidential Assassination (PA) team back then, and the rest were your typical Planned Robbery teams, and some teams on Robbing Money Trains.
Figuring things out by trial-and-error was quite fun and interesting for me. Especially about CE, and other factors that seem to affect OC outcomes.
So, over the years, I managed OCs and set everyone to be in the best possible OCs based on their NNBs to help them improve their NNB.
This was done through careful planning and discussions with Tascon, and I recorded most OC related stuff in my spreadsheets and also in faction forums.
At our peak, we had 4 stable PA teams (which was a lot back then for a faction), 2 PH (Plane Hijacking) teams, a bunch of teams on robbing money trains, and a few planned robberies.
The PA teams grew either from having new PA leaders from new members, or some old members gaining enough CE from being in PH for many years. Needless to say, I learned a lot about OCs, PAs, CE, and managing members.

At the same time, he helped the faction gain respect and money.

I was also helped by a few others in managing OCs (like Tonia, Bovy, etc). I also shared my knowledge on OCs and taught some people, like CloudJumper. Basically, I knew the NNBs for all members. I record them both in forums and in my spreadsheets and because of that, I basically had the list of all members that have ever been in MM while I was OC Manager. So, over the years, I saw people come and go, and some names I still recognize today from MM. Including ORAN himself!

Where are the original MM Members now?

Most of us are in NS now (Sparky, Don, Flander, Ceberix, CloudJumper, Rhino, etc), and some are in other factions (Tascon, Crayfish, Suneo, Tonia, Bovy, Slothex, KmKid, herself, etc). Even though some of them are in ‘enemy’ factions, we still consider each other friends apparently. I do chat with some of them from time to time. MM really was our home back then, with its friendly atmosphere. Most of us MM cores helped build the faction, from the ground up - taking it from an underdog, barely known faction to quite a formidable name over the years, and later to be recognized even by some HoF factions.
It was really shocking and sad to see it was sold but it was already done, so it was best to just start moving on back then. Besides, MM had a very good run and it was quite fun while it lasted.
On top of that, it was quite liberating to no longer an OC manager, as it was quite hard for me to maintain when RL became really busy with work.
I think that’s good enough from me. Thanks for this opportunity remember and tell of the good old days.

Essentially, Elimination is a team tournament where players attack each other to score tickets, with each successful attack gaining your team a ticket and taking one from your opponent’s team if they have any left to take. Under the usual format, teams have 30 lives and 1,000 tickets, and the side with the lowest number of tickets each hour loses a life. This year, teams will have 100 lives, with the team with the lowest number of tickets losing one every fifteen minutes. After all of a team’s lives are depleted they are eliminated. Yesterday was patch Tuesday, there was a slight 10 minutes downtime but site quickly returned back to normal with some new updates, firstly a new daily login / activity streak probably to keep you coming back, Minigun was changed from Heavy Artillery to Machine gun the properties value in networth was changed to sellback value and a new Infrastructure Engineer was added to the Developers Team (not to be confused with Chris Wolf the economy guy.)

Hemeow and Burger School for Kittens

This happened about five months ago but it was an interesting enough experiment to merit an article. It’s not every day that you find people doing wonderful things in the game, but that is exactly what Hemi and Burger (aka Scarlett-X) were doing!

“Burger-Hemeow School for Kittens Who Want to Get Stronk but Don’t Have the Proper Resources and Require Assistance (B.H.S.K.W.W.G.S.D.H.P.R.R.A, yes, the abbreviation does suck.)”

To figure out what exactly they did, I decided to sit down with Hemi and Burger, who gave me a detailed rundown!

“We made a thread on the forums requesting “applications” for the month-long kitten training program.
They application consisted of a quiz we made with a variety of game questions. We picked the ones who looked active, needed the most help, and put thought into their reply.
We picked four. One turned out to be a multi, another ran off with all the free shit we gave and the third quit midway because her parents didn’t like her being on the internet.”

Hemi and Burger spent a month teaching their ‘kittens’ to play TORN, giving them daily as well as weekly lessons on different TORN topics alongside some homework. Kittens also had to do assignments and present it, so Hemi and Burger could see if they were actually learning.

Initially, there were 18, of which only 4 made it. Turns out players that were highly active, eager to learn with a genuine interest in the game, respectful towards others, would stick around for 30 days and more importantly, had good sense of humour weren’t easy to find! Who would have thought?

Most of the questions Hemi and Burger asked were trick questions.

The two that lasted the month were really active and eager to learn, one is still playing actively and making that dough. The other’s donator pack expired and she refuses to fly for money, so she doesn’t play anymore. This is making me want a second round. >.< We also had a detention room! When we suspected one of being a multi, we put her in the detention room and even made her confess.

Burger explains the purpose of their experiment.

It’s like you get bored doing the same shit again and again. The quest for gym stats is never-ending. At the same time, you see other people who are clueless and you remember your noob days, so we decided that we’ll guide promising people so they don’t repeat our mistakes.

They also shared their disappointments during the experiment.

The most disappointing was the one who turned out to be a restart, and was using their wealth from the previous account and hoarding what we gave.
We told them that we reported them because they had a 500K respect faction without a co-leader.
She played dumb for a week or two, pretending to be a noob but she was the leader of a faction, had a high net worth, never flew and would say stuff like, “So, flying is good right? Ok, got it.”

However, even despite the bad experiences, they said the school might just return in the future.

We thought about doing it again and doing a better job of vetting folks, but so far haven’t conducted a second round. I fear that people pretend they need help just to get free shit and that defeats the purpose of what we are doing. We both were bored and had money burning in our pockets. We like to help noobs casually but wanted to make an official thing and set them up for success in the long term.
We’ll have to do the vetting round differently next time. Like older age noobs should be considered, whereas before we were only looking at young accounts. However, you always run the risk of helping a multi or someone who won’t stick around very long.

I think it would ruin the demeanor of Torn.
We get mini games in things like Christmas town.
It’s a nice change of pace while still allowing for full normal torn play. It’s like a treat we don’t need every day.
The staff and players also put on large/small competitions some of these are torn based, bringing the community together over literally almost nothing but a picture and a task.
Mini games in torn (esp if they gave prizes) would be OP if they were all the time playable, and wouldn’t follow the games general “once per day get something nice or something small” routine with things like getting your daily 100 items, or spinning the wheel once, refilling once a day pattern.
If they ever were implemented they would have to be a per say token system to cut down on hungry people that would sit for hours on the mini games instead of playing the actual game.
But mainly, we don’t need/want Candycrush to keep us company in hospital after getting punched by Leslie. We need some morphine and a xan, so we are ready in 4 hours when we have another chance at clicking to hosp him for a tank top.

At the Time of Writing, Small First Aid Kits have fallen below the Price of Empty Blood Bags with almost $500 difference in their price. First Aid Kits sit at a mere 23,000 Which was Considered as the Normal Price for Small First Aid Kits and Morphine’s sit around 33K

The Question that I mostly get is “What is Happening with Medical Items” that’s where the segment name is stolen from in case you’re wondering… :P.
To Find out I Decided to sit down with few Trader’s in TornHub Discord, to have them share their thoughts on the Topic.

Scofield Jumps in and wonders “okay seriously.. what is happened meds?? ” Unique adds to that, “Seriously, even when (I) add just 1000 meds, it will go down, (I) have stopped thinking about it altogether.” Which Implies Trader’s have already felt the effects of the Price Drop and the Market Saturation from all The Trader’s getting rid of their large stocks and Faction Leaders getting rid of their “Fake War” Supplies.

ddtyterminator a ‘Smol prawn’ but not a ‘likkle fish’, has some thoughts to share, he think its a good change for small meds users “Apparently meds is now lower on market than on pharmacy? i dont have access to pharmacy. On one hand, it is good cause people like me who can’t buy from pharmacy can just buy from market. ”
ddtyterminator However has a Big Brain Solution for it, “(The) only way for it to recover I feel is not to increase the demand (but) to tell everyone to sell at a higher price” well… this might not Actually work due to ruthless undercutting from traders in the meds section.

Scofield Believes there’s no way for Meds to recover, “SFAKs are F(tornfriendlycontent)ked Because of 5e walls… Morphines are the worst… blood bags dropping because of too much supply…” Scofield is referring to “Too Much Supply” Because New Player’s in most factions work on getting their IV-Therapy course done to begin filling blood bags for the faction armory, In General the more people that have access to withdraw Blood, the more Blood Bags enter into circulation, And not to mention most factions run a blood bag competition to help stock the armory as well as resell to buy more empty blood bags.

The 5e Walls?

Yes the 5E Walls, it is great timing that scofield mentions that, The Small First Aid Kits which are used by factions that used to fake wall for their neighbors were affected by the recent addition of 5e per wall join now those factions either don’t fake wall at all or just do real Wars. Hence they do not have to buy them weekly/monthly for fake walls but rather to just replenish from normal faction use.

For Most Older Torn Player including myself, this doesn’t come off as a surprise because back in the day, before Territory wars(released at the end of 2017), inflation and influx of new players, Small Kits actually used to scroll around 9k - 15k(at peak) range

Now with the Fake Wars almost gone, will the Market for Meds ever recover?

They Actually Might but not for long, With the Elimination Competition looming over the Horizons there’s a pretty good chance if nothing goes wrong they might increase close to their early 2020 range. Now its time to Wait and Watch!

Faction Focus: Yakuza

Yakuza, a faction that was once feared by everyone, No one wanted any trouble with and paid huge sums in Extortion fees is today filled with friendly, loyal, active members, To see how it changed and know its history and how it went together with Torn, I decided to sit down with The infamous Lord3Infamous6 who has now returned after severe inactivity and The Legendary Dash to know about the Yakuza Family’s genesis story and the effect it had on Torn.

“Yakuza was founded by US military personnel stationed in Kadena air base, a United States Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan. The founders, Badger, Dropgoat, Lildevil, Snachez and a few others decided to use a name that was representative of their (temporary) residence in Japan. Upon deciding on a name, an additional batch of members was recruited; Most of these guys are inactive today (except for TJSims who is still around). Since faction buildings did not exist, and would not for perhaps another year, factions organised on external forums (3rd party sites)”

Lord3Infamous6 joined Yakuza, Let alone Torn a year After Yakuza was formed, When he arrived Faction wars were also in full force

“Soon after I arrived, I met Spooks [64901] (SatansSamurai then). while trading a few items I had to barter. Back then, people were tough, some harder than others, but this is long before drugs even existed, let alone the epidemic that would take Torn a year or two later. He introduced me to his faction - Yakuza.”_

Spooks was a US Marine stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Though no one could travel to Japan from Torn back then. They resorted to communicating through IRC (Discord of the past)

Unlike most faction/families that migrated to Torn from external sites, What’s special about Yakuza is All Yakuza members met in Torn itself and began developing themselves, Discussing Torn stuff in online web forums, IRC etc.

So what happened to the First ever Yakuza Faction? Well this is where the story takes a turn:

“When factions become official and the first version of factions (and therefore of faction wars) is launched, Yakuza bought 2 faction buildings because it was cheaper to house members in a separate faction than to expand your faction building.”

It doesn’t even take a guess, All the Military guys joined Yakuza 1 and all of the Non Military guys joined Yakuza 2 and then, Faction Wars became a thing and this is when an unfortunate event took place.

“Thuglife, a former member of 39th, decided to do his own thing and founded bounty hunters (BH). This faction went on to create some of the most destructive chains early in the game, and because the chaining algorithm wasn’t what it is today, it was possible to destroy a faction in only a few hits by properly chaining attacks. This was the fate of Yakuza 1.”

However this would turn out to be a Turning Point for Yakuza, Badger disgusted by his defeat and ashamed of the poor performance of his team, quickly disappeared from the game and with him to a lesser extent so did most of the military members But that wasn’t the end for Yakuza because there still was another Faction filled with Members and Dash was elected as their new Leader who also inherited the Yakuza Brand.

“Meanwhile in Yakuza 2, a new “over-all” leader was elected. This man was a total opposite of Badger; A computer aficionado who often discussed complex IT topics and an introvert, Centies did not last long as leader because he did not enjoy being a public figure. Instead, he taught me all he knew and in about 6 months time I became over-all leader with Centies assuming more of an “advisor” role as per his own wishes. This is when I inherited the Yakuza brand as well as faction ID 76 which would go on to be one of the best factions in the game.”

And then came Lord3Infamous6, He had just joined Yakuza and was Impressed by what the Faction was doing and achieving

“This is the time when I came into the Yakuza. Dash was the leader. Centies was still around, but a young guy like myself having the privilege of taking his time with idle chat was not possible. Dash was our leader, and he was a mentor to the younger guys. But back then, war was the attitude. We trained for war, we learned to not think Twice about it if it were to arise. Maybe it was still the Marine Corps influence on the faction. But, keep in mind, this was a time when a faction could easily be completely destroyed overnight if the wrong people got pissed off at you.

What About friends and foes? Isn’t torn all about making friends and enemies and more friends that would backstab you i asked, to that Dash said this was a good one and continued to add,

“As far as allies, our first allies were EP(Engineered Plague), Goodfellas and THQ. The relationship between Yakuza and Goodfellas however depended on Badger being friends with someone on their side (also military personnel) and when Badger left that alliance pretty much turned sour. Goodfellas would actually go on to be one of our most vocal enemies later on. Over almost 15 years, we were allied with a lot of factions, although we did our best to keep our list of allies as short as possible, mostly because it interfered with our main source of income at the time which was the extortion racket. we were strong and wanted only strong allies, because weak allies couldn’t protect themselves. Alliances at Yakuza weren’t for protection, they were for strategically planning joint operations (lol). Our most notable allies were EP, SS (secret service), PT (for a long time until we went to war with them), and of course Infinity.”

Racket? What Racket? Extortion Racket? Hmm Interesting that Dash mentioned as their ‘Main Source of Income’ So I asked them to elaborate. To which Lord3Infamous6 answered

“This brings up an amazing time in Torn City, Factions used to pay 10s of millions for days of protection, people used to pay millions for their own safety, Yakuza was one of the leaders of the extortion movements in Torn City. those days are gone, because players used to leave town (Torn City) forever… they’d stop paying their donator tax and pack their bags”

Looks like early iterations of Yakuza quickly adopted the protection rackets as a source of income. This caused the Yakuza to clash with other protection providers frequently, and though most were quick skirmishes it also led to long campaigns to dominate the market.

Lord3infamous6 continues to add that it was a Major Component in Torn back then,

“rackets, we ended up needing spreadsheets and stuff to keep track. BH was cutting into our profits so we had to take them out.”

Dash claims himself and Lord3infamous6 used to be good social engineers, Just by using Clever words they were able to clean out a person in Minutes via Chat.

Well so my Curiosity didn’t prevent me from asking What if a player tells them to f**k off? What would they do? Dash Answers,

“Well that’s because you’re new-generation, An old gen player would never dream to tell us to f**k off Because it was very easy to destroy their faction, even after several updates If we went to the mattresses with them they’d for sure be destroyed, then we’d destroy their next faction and so on, and every time we’d do that the price (of extortion) went up. Now we’re going to need a refund for the spent energy and time. Time is precious, you know.”

So I asked them how would they take up initiative if such a mechanism was introduced that would allow people to extort just like the old days? Lord3Infamous6 says

“The government now is driven by donator taxes, it’s no longer acceptable to allow a paying person to leave the city”

So What about the great achievements by the faction? What did they achieve and at what cost? How did ‘Team Work’ even work back then?

“we fought in almost every major war early on, defeated BH, ran the first 24 hour chain in torn history, we also ran the first 2000 hit chain when everyone had 150 e and hits required 50 e, we fought the best and stood our ground, ranked top 3 in hall of fame for a pretty long time, and since you mentioned team work: I know everyone probably says this about their faction and that’s fine, but I want to point out that none of this would have ever been possible without the excellent team work everyone would put in. Our people were dedicated and loyal.

“If we had to chain at 3 AM on a Wednesday people would pop in ready for war. We also took out all the lithuanian factions, we defeated the malaysian factions (one of the toughest wars we ever fought), took out BH when they were still a name in the game, etc. Also we fought in the original HT wars on both sides, lol. We supported HT in the second war vs BH and friends which was fun to say the least. In pre-faction times we sided with SS in the SS vs SUN wars, but nobody really remembers that. That was the first major war in the game by the way.”

what aside from attacking were effective methods to cripple enemies back in the day? How did things work, Where could people escape to?
Lord3infamous6 says hes glad the city is now safe for kids and all but it wasn’t always this way, First Airlines didn’t event exist, Dash Continues to add their strategy:-

“Well you see you have to think of old torn as kind of like the way you’d think of the wild west; But mostly in the sense that lawlessness is due to poorly defined rules and gray areas. So we would exploit that 100%, Say for example one day you get a really nice letter, We’d pay designers to make them, the letter basically says pay now 1000000 upon receiving this letter or prepare for war

“So a lot of people would pay but every so often someone would test us, and so 1 mill was good money for something we only had to send a letter for but not so much if we actually had to get down to business, so once I declare war now I want 10 mill, just for declaring, no hits made and then I send a follow up letter, “Now it’s 10 mill, I’m gonna give you 12 hrs to pay, then we start clipping people”. now you got guys feeling the pressure of their poor decision not to pay but some are still feeling ballsy, so some will say “meh, I won’t pay”,

“so those guys are now top priority, now they are listed as “to be made an example of”, so first we start chaining, A sudden respect loss is suffered, guy starts paying attention, but what’s this?, even after the chain all members are being kept in the hospital, We gain nothing from doing that other than to make you suffer, it’s not a chain, it’s us responding to the challenge, shoulda paid then usually the leader, who has all the money, would bunker up with meds and say “I don’t care, let my members get hosped, I won’t pay”

“and now his members are sending him hate mail for being so closed minded,some are threatening to leave,in a week some will leave, now his faction is being destroyed not just in respect but in morale which is worth much more, we would gauge that,if faction members lost morale, their faction was already destroyed from within in fact, we’d probably recruit the strongest at that point”

What were the factions greatest strengths? Dash claims

“So early on, we always knew we were outranked in stats, numbers, and perhaps a few other dimensions. We figured out ways of overcoming those initial short comings by having defined strategies and responses for stuff.

While we did have a few power house members, most members were average in terms of stats, and we were aware of that. Our strength was in numbers and strategy, we had the ability and skill to do long chains with our resources and that would net us respect gains equivalent to any HoF faction of the time (which is how we even got to HoF).

So top strengths I would say were soft skills. We were lucky to have members who were good at strategising and it was normal for us to have a ton of spreadsheets on our offsite forums, some of our members created calculators in visual basic to figure out multipliers and stuff like that. To keep it brief, we’d science the shit out of stuff to make up for our pretty average stats.”

What did the faction always looked/looks forward for and how does it help be it in the early days or now ? Lord3Infamous6 Says

“Before dirty bombs, before companies, before trillions of stats… our vision wasn’t future proof. We wanted war and money. We dedicated ourselves to a different era”

Dash Adds “you have to understand that Lord(Lord3Infamous6) and I shared the same vision, which really helped us advance quickly in our efforts. While other factions modelled themselves after sports teams or military units, we kinda modelled our thing as more of an organized crime approach, as funny as that may sound today. We were interested in bringing some real life crime tactics into torn to gain money and notoriety. We succeeded in both aspects.”

What were Yakuza’s Vulnerabilities/Weaknesses?

Well Dash thinks this is a hard Question to Answer over the Faction’s almost 15 years of existence. He also thinks the earlier iterations were more vulnerable than the later well planned/managed ones, he thinks the Yakuza’s utmost weakness would be facing a faction with similar strategy.

“So for example for an unorganised group, even if they had olympic level stats, we’d destroy them flat out.
You could have the number one player within your ranks in your 10 man faction but if you didn’t have a game plan we were going to crush you. We’d just do a 100 man chain and hit your weakest links and avoid the greek hero or whatever.
We’d still put you in the dumpster.
But a faction who had a defined game plan, a specific set of responses for certain events, or worse: a common ideology… Those were the challenging ones.”

Whats going on today for Yakuza?

Dash Declined to Comment, because he entrusted the Yakuza Brand to his Friend Yuri-Orlov who is the current Leader of Yakuza - Infinity and owns the Yakuza Brand. welp he’s not here now, guess thats it. see ya on our next article about dude dude’s smol benis.

haha gotcha, not so easily. I Sat down with Yuri-Orlov a few months later to discuss, he Begins with
” Dash Destroyed my First Faction lmao”
” second faction I joined was Infinity Assassins. It was when real factions were still in their infancy, I became leader because the 4 members were inactive. Built it up, we ended up having 3 factions back then for the reasons dash stated. We reached a high of 18 on the hof with just over 10k of respect. Which was huge back then. Unlike Yakuza’s leadership structure, we had a leadership council and we could bounce around. We were mercenaries for hire, Guest chaining for our allies, Yakuza, HT etc. Those relationships are still strong today. We used to be known for our trash talk on the faction forums but since forums 2.0 we have remained quiet.

things seemed to have been going great for Yuri till he got banned…

“I ran a competing game (Lost City) at the time so Ched / Quacks (Yes there was a 2nd owner of torn back then) I am sure were not happy. So I was out of the game for 4 plus years and Infinity scattered to the wind. We have former members in 39th, JFK, SA, Relentless and more. A significant portion of my former members were inactive when Clansy let me out of fed.”

“When I got back, I was in debt like 200 million for my property tax. I reached out to some former members. They helped me out and I joined ELF. At that point a former member (Equilibrium) had a small new faction with a couple noobs (about 10k respect). He asked me to come to his faction and revive Infinity. Shortly after we merged with Yakuza’s former members that wanted to see their brand revived as well. You will never know who from the old days will be in the faction. We are trying to recruit active young players and build them up.In recent months, we survived a tough war with lingering Insanity and recently warred Ruthless Reborn for more territories. It is my hope that one day all of Dash’s & my wayward members come home and we can relive the glory days of Yakuza extortion. Until then we are trying to recruit active young players and build them up. We purchased a second faction to serve as a training / evaluation area. The goal is to one day return to the HOF, but it is a long slow crawl, we currently are ranked #99 with almost 2 million respect. lmao 2 million respect…If I told myself 14 years ago that would be possible I would have said thats bullshit!”

Whats the faction’s Take on elimination, Does the Faction work in team during elim and also whats the take on Crimes 2.0? Would there be certain changes taking place to Yakuza - Infinity

“I encourage our members to do elimination. Its a fun time, you get to meet others outside of the faction and form friendships, plus get to exercise your battle stats. I’ve always said, torn is a waste of time if all you do is train, Right Oran? lol We try to time our chains to coincide with it so not only do our members get the benefit of helping their team, they help the faction gain respect. I just wish Ched would allow us to all join the same (elimination) team.””
